MEET SUSAN

Since 2005, I have been creating custom cakes and desserts for clients in the Hampton Roads area. Unique cakes, cupcakes and more are my specialty! This includes, but is not limited to: birthday, anniversary, change of command, retirement, baby and weddings...you name it! I love the challenge of translating your ideas into sugar. I simply want to make edible art that you and your guests can enjoy. If you're happy then I'm happy. By definition, this is a job but in my experience, it's a reward.

I was born in Portsmouth, VA, but grew up primarily in Key West, FL. At age 13, I picked up my first spatula and have been living the "piping dream" ever since. Quite a few of the techniques that I use are self-taught. But, I have many classes under my "turntable", too. Always willing to learn something new, I share and accept any cake tips and do's or don'ts.
